Bollywood's first true blue martial art hero Tiger Shroff's upcoming super hero flick A FLYING JATT is in news for various reasons and a few hours back, the teaser of this film was unveiled and honestly it seems to be a half-baked super hero whirlwind inspired from Hrithik Roshan's KRRISH.
The makers released its trailer where Tiger Shroff gets lucky to step into the shoes of his idol, the looks, poster and feel seem borrowed from Hrithik Roshan's KRRISH but the required ‘Jaadu' (read magic) is missing.
Bollywood has nothing much to boost in this genre except KRRISH which is never ashamed of its influence from Hollywood's SUPERMAN series. For us, the teaser of A FLYING JATT gives an uninspiring picture of the outcome where a strange combo of being a Jatt Punjabi is twined with the super hero abilities of the protagonist to fly.
Introducing the antagonist played by the Hollywood import Nathan Jones that fails to make any impact further marred by routine CGI, Tiger's unimaginative introduction further adds to the wounds. Though the nerds of this genre may find it exciting but for the rest it has nothing much to talk about.
It seems as the trailer progresses, suddenly Remo D'Souza realizes the terrific dancing potential of Tiger and we see him performing his famous leap in the air.
This makes us wonder, for an actor like Tiger Shroff whose following has amazingly swelled from his debut HEROPANTI to BAAGHI, mainly due to that ‘flying kick' which normal heroes cannot do.
Tiger is already a super hero in that matter and to make him add glory to Bollywood super hero story, the makers should have initiated something novel and better from this ‘tagged' super hero flick that appears half baked and hurried.
