The new releases of the week, Jitendra Tiwari directed SHORGUL, and Shashank Shekhar Singh's KERRY ON KUTTON, failed to get patronage from the audience. Comparatively speaking it was SHORGUL which turned out to be the front runner, but unfortunately the occupancy was in the poor 5-7 percent range!

With just five days before Salman Khan's SULTAN takes over the screens, all the above mentioned films, including SHORGUL, face a bleak future at the ticket window.
Meanwhile, the two prominent releases of last week, Anurag Kashyap's Nawazuddin starrer RAMAN RAGHAV 2.0 and Vivek Agnihotri's Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam venture JUNOONIYAT, disappointed at the ticket window. Just for records while RAMAN RAGHAV 2.0 managed 6.50 crore, JUNOONIYAT was much lower at 3.50 crore, both totals to be validated.
Concluding with the Abhishek Chaubey directed Shahid, Kareena, Alia and Diljit starrer, UDTA PUNJAB, the film crashed in the second week, adding another 8.50 crore, thus netting 57.50 crore in two weeks from India and is an above average fare, based on the worldwide run.
