While we know how megastar Rajinikanth's fever grips everyone and how the world goes berserk when his film is about to release, but this time around the die-hard fans went extraordinary lengths as his film KABALI was releasing.
Since a Rajinikanth film is releasing after a long time and also the fact that last two of his films LINGAA and KOCHADAIYAAN didn't do well at all, the entire expectation and excitement surrounded on his film KABALI, that arrived after two year hiatus. The crazy fans, associates, makers went ahead and did the unimaginable. From making t-shirts to posters, the family organized two release-date events: a temple yagna overnight and fireworks on the morning of the film's release.
While the entire south region of the country was shut and declared a public holiday as the fanatics wanted to celebrate their ‘God' Rajinikanth's film, Mumbai fans were no less. The die-hard fans poured in numbers outside theatres in the wee hours. And Man! it was not just a normal gathering, like we usually would assume. The fans, clad in lungis and Indian attire, turn out with ‘dholaks' (drums) and played it zealously. They even lit crackers and if that was not enough the fans danced their heart out like never before.
Indeed, the Thalaivar's craze is unprecedented and it will stay for ages!
