While speaking to the fourth estate, Hrithik revealed that his role in MOHENJO DARO reminded him of the first character that he essayed in his debut film, KAHO NA PYAAR HAI, a character that Hrithik holds very close to his heart. And the role was that of a simple, ordinary, honest but brave boy, Rohit who fights against injustice.
Hrithik disclosed that while essaying the role of Sarman (Hrithik's character in MOHENJO DAARO), he felt that life had come full circle and he had gone back to his KAHO NA PYAAR HAI days (2000) as both the characters were very similar.
Elaborating on his role in MOHENJO DARO Hrithik said that he essays the role of a very simple, ordinary man (Sarman) who believes in honesty and love and dreams of a utopian world, where all live happily, but when he reaches MOHENJO DARO his dream is shattered to see gross injustice and so Sarman fights against the system and changes the city.
Interesting one must say!
