Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan in Bollywood's greatest epic?

This is HUGE and Bollywood will write a new history in its period epics.

AMITABH

MOHENJO DARO look is out and everybody is giving their opinion, though Hrithik Roshan's most awaited period saga by Ashutosh Gowariker is getting trolled for all the reasons, one thing is sure the image of the Bollywood Greek God in looks Hrithik Roshan in tanned bronze is everlasting.

Come again.. Bollywood ‘Greek God' in looks.. this is pondering to the hilt. We all are glad and happy to tag Hrithik Roshan for his Greek God looks but no one from the Bollywood thinking filmmaker's brigade ever thought of capitalizing Hrithik's most endearing quality to the fullest and make an epic on Alexander The Great.

Just imagine Hrithik Roshan in those Roman attires with a body to die for and those captivating green eyes (many Hrithik's diehards from the fairer sex who ar reading this might start day dreaming and I won't harm their fantasy).

Coming to reality, Ashutosh Gowariker casted Hrithik as Akbar in JODHAA AKBAR, - the short and a bit bulky Mughal emperor turned fair and handsome in Ashutosh's period drama and questions were raised. In MOHENJO DARO also Hrithik's finely cut hairdo is keeping netizens busy but if he gets casted as Alexander by Ashutosh then both will come very near to perfection.

And who else then the magnificent Mr. Bachchan to play the dynamic Indian King Porus who came as a hurdle in Alexander's dream to conquer the world. Mr. Bachchan's deep baritone voice is perfect fit for the famous dialogue said by the King when he was captured by Alexander (known as Sikander in Hindi).

Ashutosh has shown his caliber in making period dramas and his style technique is perfect for an epic on Alexander – it has the Roman Greek atmosphere and Hrithik Roshan's near perfect look for the coveted role and Mr. Bachchan coming in as King Porus is destined to make the kill.

Strange that this idea is getting stomped by me and not from people closer to Ashutosh, Hrithik and film fraternity in general.

As I am about to conclude, a striking image from 1941 SIKANDAR starring Prthviraj Kapoor as the Roman emperor and the legendary Shorab Modi as King Porus flashes my mind and I share it with you.

The movie made by the legendary Shorab Modi was hailed for its lavish mounting, huge sets, production values that where at par with Hollywood's best during its times.

Doesn't the image ring a bell.. imagine Hrithik and Mr, Bachchan in those pictures. Ashutosh are you listening or reading this..
