In a historic moment, Bollywood's evergreen golden voice Lata Mangeshkar (popularly known as Lata Didi) will sing a duet with her talented sister Usha Mangshkar after six decades. They came together to sing the classic cult 'Aaplam Chaplam' in Dilip Kumar starrer AZAAD (in 1955) in which the thespian played a triple role.

Ashok Sahni's MAIN KHUDIRAM BOSE HUN will see this magic happening, the sisters will sing the famous Bengali song - 'Ek Baar Bidaai De Do Maan' in the film.
It is learnt that Usha has already recorded her portion while Lata didi will be doing it soon. While researching on martyr Khudiram Bose, writer Dhiraj Mishra came across an interesting fact - that Lata Mangeshkar had sung the same song based on Khudiram Bose in 1951 and since then he wanted her to sing for his film as well. He tried to contact her but couldn't so he straight away landed at her home and Lataji readily agreed..
MAIN KHUDIRAM BOSE HUN is a film about Midnapur born Khudiram Bose - young Indian revolutionary who was hanged at the age of 18.
The movie is directed by Bhanu Prakash Jha and Manoj Giri. Produced by Ashok Sahni Films, MAIN KHUDIRAM BOSE HUN is written by Dhiraj Mishra & music is by Bapi-Tutul.
The movie stars Kanishk Kumar Jain playing the lead with Rituparno Sen Gupta as his sister.
