It's an interesting clash this week as Bollywood takes on Hollywood! Yes, we are talking about the Nishikant Kamat directed John Abraham starrer ROCKY HANDSOME and BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. Given the popularity of the two superheroes, even amongst the other regional language audience, as also Nishikant Kamat's track record, it will be a battle to watch out for, though in the end ROCKY HANDSOME may just about manage to emerge with better numbers (especially against the dubbed versions).

Meanwhile, after a not so great opening day, last Friday's Dharma Productions venture, the Rishi Kapoor, Fawad Khan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt starrer, KAPOOR & SONS, managed to spring a pleasant surprise, thanks to a superb Sunday, as the film netted in excess of 25 crore during the opening week from India. K & S is also holding quite well during the weekdays and given the holidays ahead, it's likely to end the first week netting in the range of 45 crore (estimated). The film is all set to emerge as the third big hit of the year, after AIRLIFT and NEERJA. KAPOOR & SONS is rocking the overseas with (perhaps) the best opening weekend grossing nearly $3m, with £182,000 from UK and $987,000 from the US, during the opening weekend (8-20 March)
The other releases of the week, AWESOME MAUSAM, CUTE KAMEENA etc, proved to be trade disasters.
