Fawad Khan is only 2 film old, but his charm and personality is forever stuck amongst all the ladies. We felt the same charm when interacting with him for his upcoming film KAPOOR & SONS. The actor spoke about his upcoming projects and much more.

Here are the excerpts:

Fawad, you began your Bollywood journey with Kapoor & daughters (in KHOOBSURAT) and now are Kapoor & Sons. So how's your journey been?
The journey in between has been very slow, but it's been rewarding. It actually took me 2 years to sign on another film.

Why the long gap?
I was looking for my space before venturing off into something that's more mainstream.

What made you choose KAPOOR & SONS?
It's a great screenplay, an amazing script and the sensibilities are very real - so real that you get immersed in it.

So is this how you will pick your projects?
I will be choosy. I tend to go on hibernation for long periods of time like a bear. This kind of lifestyle really suits me, where I do just one film, because it gets difficult to jump into another film. I wish I were so talented, but I'm not like that. I've been a lot of advertisements in Pakistan for the longest time, not much film or TV. Rather now I have signed one film after being so unlucky for 3 years.

Karan Johar has expressed his desire to do more films with you. Have there been talks about the same?
Let us finish off this project first. I will be busy shooting for the little bit left from AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL and Karan too needs to get his feet up and relax, after which we'll think if there will be talks.

'Bollywood journey has been very slow but rewarding'

What has been the funniest rumour you've heard about yourself?
The recent most was that I was playing Virat Kohli in M.S. DHONI: THE UNTOLD STORY. It was funny because I was never approached for it nor did I know about the film until the rumour came up.

You became a popular household name through ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai'. If given a chance, would you like to do TV again?
I'd love to come back on TV, but this time with something different.

Would you like to play a villainous role, considering the entire look you have right now?
I'd love to play a villain. Why not?

Coming to Rishi Kapoor, what was your experience with him?
He's been a perfect host to me. It was great to work with him and even more, hang out with him.

Is there a biopic you'd like to work in? Whose and why?
I'm playing a Pakistani pop star in a movie.
