“I said I would love to produce a movie for Varun. He's like my little brother and we really get along. I'm closest to his brother Rohit (Dhawan, Varun's elder brother). I've done DESI BOYZ with Rohit and am doing DISHOOM with Varun and there will be more. Varun is a lovely and very talented boy. As a producer, I'm thinking of ways in which I can present Varun in the best possible manner. I constructively asked him about his opinion and he said no actor asked another actor that in our industry. But I like that space. I've pushed Ayushmann (in VICKY DONOR) or anybody who comes because I like to see them there. One of the biggest advantages I have is my sense of security. I won't grow as a person if I'm insecure about what others are doing. As a producer, I think of a larger cause and believe we can make good cinema together. I think we must compliment people rather than compete,” elaborated John.
Wouldn't it be amazing to see Varun Dhawan be pushed to his limits like Ayushmann Khurrana? It's already got our adrenaline rushing!
