BANJO lead actor Riteish Deshmukh's look was revealed way before when the film shoot was about to begin. Riteish was spotted in long locks till shoulders and full grown beard. He looked absolutely like a trained drummer.

While the look of Nargis Fakhri, who's the leading lady of BANJO, was kept under wraps or the makers waiting for a right time to unveil her look and character. However, a close source had reportedly hinted about her character. The source had added that BANJO is a journey rather than a story. It is a journey in which someone crosses the seven seas to meet her dreams. Perhaps, a DJ from US meets a Banjo party from Mumbai and together they raise against all odds.
Now that the movie is going in full swing, the makers have unveiled Nargis' look from the film. Nargis too shared it on a micro-blogging site and she also gave out the details of her character. “My first look from #Banjo. where I play a Dj from New York City who is in Mumbai! #dj #film #firstlook, “ Nargis posted.
Riteish and Nargis have paired up for the first time. BANJO marks acclaimed Marathi director Ravi Jadhav's debut in Hindi cinema. The film is produced by Eros.
