With the onset to eradicate black money from the country our honourable Prime Minster last week announced to ban 500 and 1000 rupee notes from the economy. Just after the news broke, the entire country went berserk and the situation went chaotic overnight.VIPUL AMRUTLAL SHAH
In such a chaotic situation one usually wouldn't think about watching movies or going to theaters, and this issue has hit the box-office badly.
ROCK ON 2 which released last week failed to gain footfalls in cinema halls due to demonetization issue. However, this week we have two releases FORCE 2 and TUM BIN 2 and everyone is awaiting box office numbers.
In an exclusive conversation with Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the co-producer of FORCE 2, when we asked him if he plans to push the film owing to the current demonization issue, Vipul said, “I support the decision of Prime Minster and stand by him. I know that we are facing issues and I will incur some loss if I release the movie this Friday but I am ready to bear that for the betterment of the country. “
He further stated, “People who are tired of standing in long queues need recreation and what better movie than FORCE 2. This film is on a very apt topic with the ongoing scenario, it will be unfair to pull this movie from the audience.”
