Lisa Haydon, who impressed everyone with her quirky character in QUEEN and AE DIL HAI MUSHKIL, is making her television debut with fiction series ‘The Trip.'

The web series is fun and spirited coming-of-age story about four (girl) friends who go on a road trip to Thailand. As one of the girls is set to tie the knot, the gang plans a road trip as a part of the bride's bachelorette. The journey though turns into an emotional roller coaster that establishes the relationships they share with one and another and with their own self!

Rings a bell? Yeah, the Indian feature film ANGRY INDIAN GODESSES had a very similar plotline.

Lisa, who recently got married, plays feisty, extrovert Shonali Seth, who is also the mastermind behind the road trip planned with her friends and not her husband. Joining the beautiful Lisa on 'The Trip' are three equally exciting actors, who play interesting and diverse characters.

MASAAN fame Shweta Tripathi plays the bride Ananya Makhija. Fondly called Ana, the 22-year-old is smart, articulate and gullible. Born in a rich family and an absolute romantic at heart, she dreams of the perfect wedding and now her dream to have a Big Fat Indian wedding is finally coming true. She loves her friends and holds everyone together.

Then comes Sapna Pabbi, who played Kiran Rathod in Indian television series 24 and also in the film KHAMOSHIYAN as Sanjana Kapoor. Her life is set by routines and plans. She is spiritual, ambitious, opinionated, head strong and is the only outsider in the best friend's trio.

The trip goes online this December. It will first air on Bindass' social media page, followed by the premiere on the channel.
