Amit Trivedi's father passes away; steps back from Bollywood Music Project

Fans were waiting with baited breath for ace composer Amit Trivedi's electrifying perform at India's biggest and Asia's largest music festival, Bollywood Music Project. Unfortunately Amit had to step back from the festival last minute due to the sudden demise of his father.


Amit was supposed to perform on day one of the festival. However, Amit's close buddies and popular Bollywood composing duo Vishal-Shekhar stepped in to fill in the headliner spot and stormed the audience. 

We extend our deepest condolences for the bereaved Amit Trivedi.

Presented by Radius Developers, Hungama Bollywood Music Project festival -- curated by IP Company, Event Capital in alliance with talent management company TM Talent Management -- aims at inculcating new ways of consuming Bollywood music. More than 70 musicians from the Hindi film industry will be seen jamming together. It will be held at Jio Garden, BKC on September 30 and October 1.
Rekha Bhardwaj, Vishal-Shekhar, Sonakshi Sinha, Hard Kaur performed live on day 1, while Arijit Singh, Sajid-Wajid are expected to close the day two of the one of its kind festival.
Other solo acts during the latter half of the day will include Sachin-Jigar, Papon and Badshah. Solo acts during the earlier half of the day will include acts like Harish Moyal, Goldie Sohel, Gaurav Dutta, Gurnazar, Divine, Deepak Rathore Project, Azizon Ki Toli and more.
