While Irrfan Khan has already made us proud by being one of the essential stars of Hollywood flick INFERNO, there is yet another Indian connection with the film.
Besides Irrfan Khan, there is one more Indian connection to this film and that is BAAHUBALI fame Rana Daggubati. No the actor is not going to star in the film but has dubbed for Tom Hanks's character ‘Robert Langdon' for the Telugu version of the film. The actor said that he was honored to dub for an actor of Tom Hanks's caliber. Rana also got to learn a lot from his dubbing experience.
In the recent past many of the Bollywood actors have dubbed for International projects like Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan dubbed for THE JUNGLE BOOK, Amitabh Bachchan dubbed for THE BFG, Arjun Kapoor dubbed for ICE AGE: COLLISION COURSE and Varun Dhawan lend his voice to CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. So dubbing for Hollywood projects is the trend which our Bollywood actors are willing to follow quite happily.
Directed by Ron Howard and written by David Koepp, INFERNO is based on Dan Brown's 2013 novel of same name. INFERNO will hit the Indian theatres on next Friday, two weeks ahead of its US theatrical release.
