In a recently held meeting between Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, producers of ADHM and Raj Thackrey whose party threatened to disturb screening of the film due to the presence of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, the decision to allow peaceful screening of the film was taken.

Filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt and prominent personality in Bollywood's film and trade associations was also present and has reportedly elaborated about the proceedings of the meet to the media in a statement that says, “Karan Johar will display a slate of tribute for Uri martyrs before ADHM starts playing out on the screens. We have assured the CM that the Film Producers Guild and any filmmaker will not work with any Pakistani artist in the future,”

This comes as a huge relief for Karan Johar and the entire team of ADHM.
