Actor Randeep Hooda who is going through training sessions and preparing diligently for his titular role of commander - Havaldar Ishar Singh for the upcoming period war epic - The BATTLE OF SARAGARHI, met Capt. Amarinder Singh – the former Chief Minister and Captain from Sikh regiment In Chandigarh.

The war epic to be helmed by the prolific Raj Kumar Santoshi held its mahurat in the capital last month and won the race against Ajay Devgn who also announced a similar war epic based on the 1897 war fought between 21 Sikhs and 10,000 Afghans.

The team of BATTLE OF SARAGARHI - Wave Cinemas Group Chairman Raju Chadha and CEO Rahul Mittra along with Randeep Hooda, and director Raj Kumar Santoshi met Captain Amarinder Singh over lunch in Chandigarh and exchanged nostalgic details from the world of Bollywood, military and politics.
