Sonu Nigam has stirred a new debate in B-town with his azaan row. While some people are supporting the singer there are others who expressed their displeasure over his posts on forced religiousness.

Few days back we told you how Kangana Ranaut spoke on this subject by stating that everyone is bound to have their own opinion but personally she loves azaan

Now her RANGOON co-star Saif Ali Khan has opened up on this row. Talking about the row the actor was quoted in a leading daily saying as, “Don't know who you are offending. At one level, I agree, the lesser sound the better. There should be certain decibel levels allowed across all religious practices. I also understand the amplification of the sound during azaan comes from insecurity,”

The actor further added, “It's fine to express your views on the decibel levels. I think that tweet was a bit aggressive though, initially. And I do think religion should be a private affair and we should be a secular country.”

We hope that in future our celebrities will be little more conscious when it comes to sensitive topic like religion.
