There are certain stars in Bollywood who are controversy's favorite child. One such actress is Kangana Ranaut.

The actress was accused by SIMRAN's writer Apurva Asrani of snatching away his credit as writer of SIMRAN when her name was also credited for the additional dialogues.

At the trailer launch of SIMRAN clarifying the entire credit controversy Kangana Ranaut said, “Now that all of us are here I would like to clarify one thing that there's lot of misconceptions about the whole thing that took place. First of all I would like to clarify that there are no dues pending. Somehow it was made to look like Apurva was not given his dues where as we have done exactly what he asked for. He was the one who suggested that I take additional credit for dialogues and all the documents and contracts are sound that way. You can ask Hansal sir about the same. Post that we (Apurva and she) also worked on the schedule and after many months he decided to write this note just when RANGOON flopped and 2-3 people attacked me which I thought was in a very bad taste and was very planned and extremely deliberate. Whatever we have done was with his consent. That's how it is and this is where we stand today.”

We wonder what Apurva has to say about this statement of Queen Kangana now.
