SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE fame Dev Patel's LION is talk of the town. After receiving accolades for Patel as best supporting actor at the BAFTA and entering the year's Oscars with a handsome sic pack nominations that includes Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Patel), Best Supporting Actress (Kidman) and Best Adapted Screenplay, the movie is anxiously waiting for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reaction.

Based on Saroo Brierley and Larry Buttrose's non -fiction book ‘A Long Way Home', LION throws light on the missing children in India. Ahead of its India release this Friday, Union Minister of Women and Child development Maneka Gandhi has organized a VVIP screening tomorrow for parliamentarians in Delhi and the PM Narendra Modi is invited as the Chief Guest.

The idea behind organizing the screening is to highlight the issue and discuss plans to improve the condition of street children in India. According to reports, the event will also see the launch of #Lion Heart an initiative to improve the condition of street children in India.

Part from Dev Patel and Sunny Pawar, Garth Davis outstandingly remarkable piece of cinema also stars veteran Bollywood actress Deepti Naval and the talented young actress Priyanka Bose in pivotal roles.
