Priyanka Bose is an Indian film actress and a model.

Priyanka started her film career with a small role in LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA, SORRY BHAI!, JOHNNY GADDAR and later went to do Hrithik Roshan starrer GUZAARISH. However, she is best known for her role in the award-winning multi-lingual film GANGOR, which was internationally highly acclaimed.

Now her second international film LION has released worldwide and will be releasing in India this Friday. Priyanka is playing the biological mother of Dev Patel's character Saroo Brierley in LION.

During an exclusive conversation with Priyanka she speaks in length over working with an international project yet again, Bollywood dreams and more.

When asked how it was working with Dev Patel, Priyanka Bose said, “Garth, Dev and I did lot of workshop earlier. Dev and I got to know each other very intimately, in a very beautiful way. Then Garth made sure we didn't see each other for about four days. Both Dev and I were in the same boat, but we went with it and then we finally saw each other on set. He was looking for me in the crowd, and I was looking for him, and then we saw each other.”

Priyanka has carved a niche for herself in Bollywood and has bagged two international projects. On being asked if she will take up some Bollywood projects and what are the projects that interest her, to which she added, “I have this hyper ambition about the type of actor I want to be, and you know, in India, I'm not valued that much for this intensity. There are different ways of thinking and casting in Bollywood, and I'm not the prototype. I am open to Bollywood projects but I feel left out as because I'm just different in my sensibilities. I was thrilled when LION was offered to me, this role is challenging.”

Kudos to you girl!
