Good news for Shah Rukh Khan's fandom. Shah Rukh Khan's cult TV serial CIRCUS will make his fans around the globe to re-experience the actor's first brush to stardom in the Aziz Mirza & Kundan Shah directed show.

Aired on Doordarshan in 1989 before SRK entered films, CIRCUS was SRK's first brush towards stardom in the show set in a circus troupe where SRK played Shekharan, a young man who is forced to manage a circus against his dreams.
Doordarshan (DD) shared the news on their social media handle by saying, “Good news for @iamsrk Fans - DON'T MISS @iamsrk's #Circus - TV Series (1989) - From 19 Feb at 8 pm only on @DDNational.”

Actress Renuka Shahane who played Shah Rukh Khan's love interest in the film got excited and shared the good news on her social media handle by saying, “That's such good news….thanks @DDNational .”

Now, we only wish SRK's Circus is also back on telly!

CIRCUS also starred actor turned director Ashutosh Gowariker.
