The touted Diwali 2018 mega bonanza produced by Aditya Chopra under his banner YRF films is reportedly based on Philip Meadows Taylor's English novel ‘Confessions of a Thug'. To be helmed by DHOOM 3 fame Vijay Krishna Acharya, THUGS OF HINDOSTAN was expected to roll in May this year.

Anyhow, if rumors are to be believed, the schedule might be delayed. A source close to the unit informs that Aamir Khan has suggested some innovations in the script and the makers are happy to make the changes in the interest of the film.

Well, you can anytime trust Aamir for rewarding innovations and his dedication, be it in capacity as a producer, director or an actor – the perfectionist as we all know  makes sure that things go right as ordered by doctors of quality cinema around the globe.

While nothing is official on this and we tried to get in touch with Vijay Krishna Acahrya and Aamir on the same, they were unavailable for their comments.
