The coming Friday will see the release of Tapsee Pannu's NAAM SHABANA, the prequel to BABY. The film is likely to embark on a decent start, given the awareness about the film. The other release of the week, Rahul Bose's POORNA, based on true life conquests, may appeal to discerning audience at high end multiplexes.

Meanwhile, last Friday's Anushka-Diljit venture, PHILLAURI, surprised everyone with an inspired run, netting over 15 crore during the opening weekend. The film has maintained reasonably with low level collections during the weekdays. Given that the film was made at a cost of 21 crore and has already made 12 crore from satellite and music rights, the film should write a success story. PHILLAURI has also performed decently in the overseas grossing $1.25m with £90,000 from UK and $261,000 from the US, during the opening weekend (24-26 March).

The other prominent release of the week, Swara Bhaskar starrer ANAARKALI OF AARAH, failed commercially, despite critical acclaim.
