Pooja an orphan was living with her uncle and first cousin Lata. Unfortunately Lata's father too passed away making both of them orphan. Gurmeet's mother came to know about these girls' plight and she shared it with Gurmeet.

Gurmeet and his wife Debina felt that these girls deserve a better life and education hence they mutually decided to adopt them. Almost all formalities regarding this adoption have been taken care of.

Gurmeet was quoted saying in the report as, “All paperwork is done. We will be going to Jarmpur for the final signatures after Holi. It is a two-day process. Everybody, including my parents, keep asking me when I'm planning a baby. Well its official now, I'm bringing home two daughters and we shouldn't be more excited.”

Well that's really very happy news for everyone. Congratulations to you and your wife Gurmeet.

On the professional front Gurmeet was last seen in WAJAH TUM HO and his next LAALI KI SHAADI MEIN LADDOO DEEWANA will hit the silver screens on April 7.
