Talking about the problems caused by the miscreants, filmmaker-host Karan Johar said, “It's deeply saddening as a filmmaker, as a human being and as a citizen of this prestigious and wonderful country that we have to kind of endure something like this. And my thoughts, my support, all my ideologies are with Sanjay. We on our level as producer guild sat down and we are all in support with Sanjay and his entire cast and crew. I hope that adequate measures will be taken in future so that something like this never happen to any filmmaker ever.”

Sharing his sentiments director of BAAHUBALI franchise, S S Rajamouli said, “Firstly we don't know yet what Mr. Bhansali is going to present and even if what he presents is not in tune with people's thoughts. He is an artist and he should be able to express his views. Freedom of speech is a fundamental right of people of this country. Any artist or filmmaker should be able to express his views.”

Well we hope that sense prevails upon the miscreants who fail to understand that until and unless the film is ready and out how can they decide whether Bhansali is distorting history or not.
