Actor producer Anil Kapoor's VEERE DI WEDDING starring Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor is in fresh trouble.

After the delay in shoot due to Kareena Kapoor's pregnancy, the movie is now facing trouble over title row. A Punjabi film starring Jimmy Shergill and debutante actor Diljott bears similarity in the title - VEERE KI WEDDING.

Anil Kapoor has approached Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPAA) and has asked for an intervention. Anil Kapoor claims that he has registered the title first while the director of VEERE KI WEDDING Ashu Trikha says that they had acquired a copyright and trademark for the film title.

According to reports, Ashu Trikha claims to have registered the title with their association, Indian Film and TV Producers Council. While shooting of Anil Kapoor's film is yet to begin, Ashu has reportedly shot 80 % of the film.

Both Anil and Ashu have registered their film in different trade bodies and the final decision might be taken by The Film Makers Combine, a source however says that since Ashu Trikha had already shot 80% of the film and is expected to complete the shooting by next week, Anil Kapoor may have to change his title because his case is weaker as his film is yet to go on floors. But Anil Kapoor is in no mood to change the title of his film and will continue his battle for the title with the Punjabi filmmaker.
