As the chant for the historically thundering success of BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION becomes deafening day by day with a record shattering collection of around 600 croes worldwide till now, this amazingly interesting light hours before the release of the highly awaited teaser of Salman Khan's TUBELIGHT, speaks a lot.

A source close to Dharma informs that Salman Khan has made way for Prabhas dream debut in Bollwood with the BAAHUBALI series. The story goes like this..

Keen to do something extraordinary with Salman Khan, Karan Johar brought the Hindi remake rights of BAAHUBALI. Karan had the box office SULTAN – Salman Khan in his mind for the Hindi remake of Rajamouli helmed epic fantasy inspired from Indian mythologies.

But our dear Salman who is known for his mood swings was taking his own time to decide and nothing was happening. The source adds that Karan has already paid the amount and the agreement was done. Karan is a noted filmmaker but also a businessman and the wait for him was getting longer.

Adding a point in Salman's favour, the source says that since BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN was also releasing in the same month - July 2015, Salman must be waiting for the response to give his final word and considering the fate of his earlier period saga VEER (2010) Salman needed some good time to decide.

Karan has already sensed the potential of BAAHUBALI and his business acumen was against wasting anytime. So to compensate on the amount spend on the remake rights, Karan decided to release the Hindi version of BAAHUBALI: THE BEGINNING and the rest is history.

Interestingly, the story writer of BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN and BAAHUBALI series is the same veteran K. V. Vijayendra Prasad–father of Rajamouli who has written his blockbusters like EEGA, MAGADHEERA etc.

Imagined if Salman Khan has said yes to the remake of BAAHUBALI, Prabhas aka Mahendra Bahubali would have been restricted to his Hindi dubbed Telugu flicks on small screen.

And now look at the irony and the game of destiny, nobody imagined the scale and magnitude of BAAHUBALI: THE BEGINNING which released a week before BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN in July 17 2015 couldn't stop the world from the Hindi belt also going gaga over this dubbed Hindi epic fantasy.
Today the second installment BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION has broken all records and is on its way to be India's first film to touch the 1000 core mark (600 already achieved) worldwide.

As the teaser of Salman khan's highly awaited TEASER is awaited today at night, all the comparisons will be whether it will beat the collections of BAAHUBALI. Bollywood's touted box office SULTAN in a way has made the way for Prabhas with BAAHUBALI series which is now a history.

Even Salman Khan in the wildest of his dreams have never imagined that the collections of the dubbed version of Prabhas film released on a non-holiday, will be a benchmark for his mainstream Eid Holiday bonanza TUBELIGHT.
