After waiting for so long today finally we saw the first trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's dream project PADMAVATI. At first look everything appeared to be so magnificent and mesmerizing that most of you probably failed to notice that there were many things in the trailer that doesn't fit into the definition of novelty.

If observed keenly the opening shot of the trailer will remind you of scenes that we have already seen in films like JODHAA AKBAR and BAAHUBALI franchise. Even the battle scenes resembles the one which we have seen in before mentioned films.

The scene where Deepika is running through the ponds in the Rajmahal (mansion) is so uncanny with the one in BAJIRAO MASTANI where Mastani is running towards Bajirao in order to be embraced by him. And when we say uncanny of course we mean at the look and feel of the set and not that of the characters.

Almost all the battle scenes will give you a deja vu feeling of having been watched somewhere and we will tell exactly where. The battle scenes in the trailer will remind you of the one which we have seen in BAAHUBALI, JODHAA AKBAR and Sanjay's previous film BAJIRAO MASTANI.

Then comes our antagonist Ranveer Singh's terrifying look which seems to be a combination of SS Rajamouli's Kalakeyas (BAAHUBALI) and the world famous character of Khal Drogo from the international fantasy drama television series GAME OF THRONES.

So over all if observed keenly then you will find many such scenes which will instantly give you a deja vu feeling.

But all said and done we cannot judge the entire movie on the basis of its 3 minute long trailer. Bhansali has always offered something new with all of his films and perhaps he will live up to the expectations of people from his latest film PADMAVATI as well.

For further updates stay tuned.
