The coming Friday will witness multiple releases in the form of SAMEER, MR. KABAADI, THE RALLY, DADDY and POSTER BOYS. From the list it is just the Arjun Rampal venture, DADDY and the Deols' project POSTER BOYS, which is likely to make a mark at the ticket window.

DADDY, POSTER BOYS, SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAN and BAADSHAHO
DADDY, POSTER BOYS, SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAN and BAADSHAHO

Checking out, the premier new release of last week, Milan Luthria's Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D'Cruz and Vidyut Jammwal starrer BAADSHAHO, after a decent opening day(12 crore), the film picked up during the Eid-Ul-Azha holidays and ended up with a good weekend haul of 36-37 crore and maintained reasonably on Monday. If the film can hold well during the weekdays, it can turn out to be another success for Milan-Ajay team (not to forget Emraan). BAADSHAHO is fair in the overseas grossing $1.45m with £80,000 from UK and $270,000 from the US during the opening weekend (1-3 September).

The other release of the same week, Ayushmann-Bhumi starrer SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAN, turned out to be another pleasant surprise (just as we had predicted), doubling its fair opening day numbers (2.75 crore) on Saturday, with a further pick up on Sunday, thus netting a creditable 16 crore (to be validated) during its opening weekend. The film is also maintaining very well during the weekdays and is all set to be second consecutive success for Ayushmann and Bhumi post BAREILLY KI BARFI and TOILET-EK PREM KATHA, respectively. The film has also fared reasonably in the overseas.

The other releases of the same week, SNIFF!!!, QAIDI BAND and MUSKURAHATEIN etc. were washouts.
