Riteish Deshmukh as Aladin - Aladin lost his parents, Arun and Ria Chatterjee, when he was four years old and raised by his grandfather in the town of Khwaish. But all through his growing up years, in school and college, the name his parents chose for him spelt trouble for this Aladin. Kasim and his gang of bullies have been the bane of his existence since childhood and he constantly has been the bane of his existence since childhood and he constantly has to keep running away to escape from their clutches... Aladin's life is not great by any standards. He is alone, and now also in love with a girl he can't even pick up the courage to speak with... until one day, a stranger appears out of nowhere - a genie - and shows him the true significance of his name and his destiny.
Jacqueline Fernandez as Jasmine - Jasmine is the kind of girl who everyone fell in love with in High School. She is the most beautiful girl in college & has all the boys on the Khwaish University campus drooling - including Aladin, who falls in love with her at first sight... but seems to be destined to stand last in the queue of Jasmine's potential suitors! But Jasmine is no damsel in distress. With a mean left hook and a black belt in karate, she is not just drop-dead gorgeous and sweet - she is also sassy and smart and can hold her own against any villains who dare cross her path. Ringmaster and his crew better watch out!
Amitabh Bachchan as Genius - Genius is a dude who's so funky and spunky that it's hard to believe he's actually a 3000 year old genie! And one who is looking forward to his retirement from wish-giving and the lamp once he grants. Aladin his three wishes. While he's thrilled to be liberated from the lamp and restless to enjoy his freedom, Genius finds himself struck with Aladin whose last wish is almost impossible to fulfill. What makes it difficult for Aladin - or anyone else - to believe that Genius is a genie is the fact that Genius is not cast in a traditional genie mould. He Doesn't walk, talk or dress like a traditional genie. He does not speak conventional Arabic or Chinese or even traditional Hindi film lingo: "Kya Hukum Hai Mere aaka?" and all that. For though there is a touch of the classical genie in him, Rap and Hip Hop seem to be the defining influences in his style and demeanor. Frankly, he is more impish than 'genish'.
Sanjay Dutt as Ringmaster - Ringmaster is pure evil incarnate. He is an ex-genie who was banished by the order of the Genies because he wanted to serve himself and not the owners of the lamp. His crew consists of his lady love The Flame Thrower as well as The Clown, The Knife Thrower and other circuits renegades who are out to help the Ringmaster find the Magic Mirror and finally the Magic Lamp. In between, the Ringmaster finds time to make wisecracks and kill anyone who crosses his path. He arrives in Khwaish looking for something that he not only found and lost two decades ago but which promises to fulfill his ultimate wish: of becoming the most powerful man in the universe! And the only two people standing between him and his diabolical designs are Aladin and Genius
