YEH KHULA AASMAAN is a relationship based film by writer-director Gitanjali Sinha, produced by Hemendra Aran of Gitanjali Creations and starring veteran actors Raghubir Yadav, Yashpal Sharma, Manjusha Godse, Kishor Nadalskar, Nitin Kerur, Aditya Siddhu, Gulshan Pandey and introducing Raj Tandon and Anya Anand.

The music of the film is composed by Anand-Milind and lyrics penned by Ravi Chopra.

The film is inspired by a true story and tells the tale of a young IIT aspirant's academic failures and the problem of crumbling family ties. Already screened to rave reviews at international film festivals, the film makes its debut at cinemas across India on 25 May 2012.

Synopsis:

YEH KHULA AASMAAN revolves around Avinash, a young intelligent boy going through an extremely challenging phase of life due to his academic failures. He feels an immense vacuum which unfortunately his busy parents are unable to fill. In desperation he visits his Grandfather (Dadu) after several years.

Being the Best Kite Runner of his era, Dadu uses the 'kite' to subtly impart the lessons of life and prepares Avinash to face life. Under Dadu's company Avinash discovers many unexplored yet invaluable facets of life finding true Friendship, Love and Inspiration to lead a life full of hope, joy and success.
