BLUE captures the fast paced action, above and below the ocean as never seen before in Indian Cinema. This oceanic spectacle features Bollywood stars like Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan, Rahul Dev and Katrina Kaif.
Having an amalgamation of Hollywood and Bollywood, the film boasts of the best technicians from across the world. The wild scenic beauty of the oceans has been captured by the underwater specialist cinematographer Pete Zuccarini, while cinematographer Laxman Utekar captured the beauty of the Bahamas & bangkok.
The fast paced racy action has been executed by action director James Bomalick who had set pulses running with THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS - TOKYO DRIFT earlier.
This all-round action packed grandiose has none other than Oscar winner A R Rahman composing the tracks for the film with the winning combination of Resul Pookuty engineering the sound.

International pop icon Kylie Minogue has sung for a special soundtrack along with Sonu Nigam and performed along with the leading cast of the film.
Replete with action, underwater stunts, stylish characters, international technicians, and award winning musicians, the film has been shot in the Bahamas & Bangkok, and revolves around the complex relationships shared amongst the lead characters and their search for a lost treasure.
All set to hit theatres this Diwali on October 16th, BLUE is produced by one of India's biggest production houses Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. and directed by debutant director Anthony D'Souza.
While PVR Pictures has procured the rights to distribute Bollywood's most ambitious project, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision's much awaited underwater action thriller BLUE across North India which includes the cities of Delhi, UP and East Punjab, than the Overseas division of Shemaroo Entertainment, in association with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd., will be distributing BLUE worldwide.
Synopsis:
250 ft deep lies the secret of Blue. Treasures hunters come in droves, lured by tales of a fabled treasure.
But no one has ever returned from the deadly depths of the Pacific Ocean; leaving behind a bloody trail and even more intriguing rumors... For not only is the treasure inaccessible; it's guarded night and day by deadly sharks
Aarav, Sagar and Sam - three men with differing motives - find themselves diving deep into these murky depths - to hunt for treasure.
For wealthy Aarav, it's about the intoxicating high of more money and of more risk. For honest, Sagar, it's only about saving his girlfriend Mona and his brother. For dare devil Sam, it's simply a matter of life and death - his own.
As emotions runs high and motives run deep, the dark side of human nature lays bared.
And hundreds of feet underwater, Aarav, Sagar and Sam grapple, initially with the sharks, and then with the demons of greed, betrayal, and above all their own pricking conscious.

Akshay Kumar as Aarav - Owner of Blue Shipping and Fisheries - a shipping company, Aarav is easily one of the richest and the most eligible bachelors in the Bahamas. Always ready for a dare, he hates the thought of losing. Because for him, the best and most intoxicating high in the world is RISK!
He constantly badgers Sagar to search for the lost treasure. But it is out of insatiable greed, or some ulterior motive.
Sanjay Dutt as Sagar - Aarav's closest friend and employee, Sagar is a straight-forward, simple man with a troubled past and a modest future. He's not ambitious - either for money or fame - and content to lead a simple life. But he has a haunted past and his redemption lies in facing his demons, that lie hundreds of feet underwater.
Lara Dutta as Mona - Mona is a marine enthusiast. She is Sagar's confidant and love. Her effervescence and compassion, compliment Sagar's stoicism, perfectly.
Zayed Khan as Sam - With great confidence, comes a bit of arrogance. Self-assured Sam, Sagar's estranged brother, is an urban nomad with a singular driving passion - bikes. His accidental involvement with a mafia drug lord, forces him to flee Bangkok and find asylum in his ancestral home, in the Bahamas.
