The talented writer Honey Irani turns director for the most awaited and star-studded movie 'Armaan'. The stars list includes
Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Gracy Singh, Anupam Kher and Randhir Kapoor.
The movie brings together Amitabh Bachchan and Anil Kapoor on the big screen for the first time. and so does writer Honey Irani &
ex-Husband Zaved Akhtar. The hit combination of Shankar Ehsaan Loy composes the music while Javed Akhtar pens the lyrics and dialogues.
Armaan (desires) is all about dreams, wishes, desires, human relations, love and how the son goes to fulfill his father's dream.
Armaan is the story of Dr.Sidharth Sinha(Amitabh Bachan) who has devoted his life to build a state of the art hospital to treat patients without any
discrimination. And turn this dream into a reality he even sacrifices his love for his son, Akash.
Dr.Akash Sinha(Anil Kapoor)is a respected neuro surgeon, who too is equally devoted and wants to realise his father's dream, but.. fate has something
else planned for him.
Armaan is the story of Dr.Neha Mathur(Gracy Singh)- A fellow doctor of Akash - A woman, who will never let her personal life or emotions, get in
the way of her profession.
Armaan is the story of Soniya Kapoor(Preity Zinta) She is the daughter of the 10th richest man in the world, She is a rich & arrogant young woman.
All that she now desires is Love.
Life's not that easy and it takes Akash to a junction, where he has to select between two roads. One takes him towards his love for Neha and other towards fulfilling
his father's dream.
With the Bollywood going through an awful state, and the only saleable star being Amitabh Bachchan, Armaan is expected to bring in some relief to the industry.
The movie is expected tp release in May end.
