Director Vishram Sawant’s is back with his second film RISK starring Randeep Hooda in the title role. Hooda is working with Sawant again after D which was the debut vehicle for both of them. D was slickly made and well-narrated displaying Sawant’s prominent story-telling abilities. An adman and photographer by profession he is adept at capturing every shot with immaculate perception and that was visible in D. D was produced by Ramgopal Varma.

RISK is the story of an honest and dutiful cop Suryakant Satam (Randeep Hooda) who is struggling through a dilemma. One risk can change his life. But he realizes his job is full of risks and doing his duty honestly is the toughest job. He is standing at the crossroad of a dilemma of serving his duty or be committed to his family or his love Shradha (Tanushree Datta) as they pay a heavy price for his honesty. RISK is the other side of the cop’s life. It’s the jeopardy his family faces for standing by him and his commitment to his uniform. His victory has a heavy price attached to it.

The movie stars Randeep Hooda as Suryakant and Tanushree Datta as his ladylove Shradha. RISK will also star the veteran actor Vinod Khanna as the don Khalid. Makrand Deshpande, Seema Biswas and Yashpal Sharma round off the supporting cast. The film has been written and directed by Vishram Sawant. K Sera Sera act as the producers while T A Shah is the presenter. Akbar Sami makes his debut as the music composer. Bapi Tutul also provides the music.
