ROG is Pooja Bhatt's third film after JISM and PAAP, with the latter last receiving a dismal response at the box-office. The film is directed by Himanshu Brahmabhatt and the story is written by Mahesh Bhatt. The film introduces South African supermodel, Ilene Hamann, who is playing a full-fledged role in the film. Pooja decided to cast the actress after she saw her photograph on the cover of a French publication, 'La Official'. Apart from Hamann, the film stars Irrfan Khan, Suhel Seth, Munish Makhija, Shyamli Varma and others. M.M. Kreem, who had earlier composed the songs for JISM, has composed the music of the film. The film has been extensively shot in Mumbai and Alibaug and was recently shown at the Kara Film Festival, where it received a promising response. ROG is once again a film in a different genre coming from Pooja Bhatt's production house. The suspense thriller is being slated for a 7th January release.
