Future seems to be the present for producers wanting to launch their sons. Harry Baweja launched his son Hurman with LOVE STORY 2050 last year, a movie where Hurman goes ahead of time travelling in a time machine. Vashu Bagnani launched his son this week with KAL KISSNE DEKHA. In this movie, Jacky has the gift of knowing in advance what will happen. The similarities don't end there. Hurman cloned Hrithik Roshan to the 'T'. By default, Jackky has a slight resemblance to Uday Chopra, another producer son. We know what happened to Hurman, he could not be Hrithik. Jacky has hope here, he was not planning to ape Uday!
CHECK OUT : KAL KISNE DEKHA - Music Review The lad has spark and an endearing quality. He emotes well, delivers his dialogues with confidence, dances decently and is not camera conscious. I believe he has seen his future! He will do well. Newcomer Vaishali Desai, too delivers a confident performance. There's not much in the movie though. If you ask me the future, it will suffer the same fate as 2050. Wonder why Vashu did not see it!

The movie is about Nihal Singh (Jacky) who comes to the city from Chandigarh to pursue his education. It's the usual campus crap, which we have been seeing all these years in movies. The scene then moves to a mall where 'Richie-rich' Meesha (Vaishali) is deriding Nihal for his small town status. Nihal meanwhile, thanks to his supernatural power, has seen a bomb below the dais where Meesha is doing her act. Hate over, love begins. Girl thanks boy for saving her life and boy then stumbles on an even bigger plan where the whole city will be blown up. At the centre of it is the college professor himself (Rishi Kapoor) who was thrown out of a Research Centre. Planting bombs is the excuse he gives for taking revenge on those who hurt him. Not convincing. Also, why he has teamed up with Rahul Dev, the evil character is not explained. Also not clear is what the two girls with guns are doing with Rahul and why they ran away when Nihal bashed the goons and Rahul is a mystery. They all had guns!
CHECK OUT : KAL KISSNE DEKHA - One more interface with the future The music is a big let down. Considering it was targeted at the youth, Vashu could have done well to get in some cracking numbers that would top the charts.Ratings : 2/5
