Big wind, loud thunder, no rain. 'Jism too' is all that and much less! Just having 'assets' thrust at the viewer from posters and a scantily clad woman on hoardings is not going to make a movie. It's nice to cash in on the publicity of some semi-famous Canadian porn star, but it also has to be backed with some solid writing. JISM 2 is flawed from the word go. All that director Pooja Bhatt is able to see is the 'Sunny' side of the female lead and goes overboard in getting the busty babe thrust her cleavage (having veins, like those on biceps) to the unsuspecting viewer. It's not titillating, it's repulsive.
When all that has to be seen is shown, there's nothing sexy left in it. Being a woman, Pooja Bhatt should have known that better. There's a vast difference between being erotic and erratic.
For the record, the credit for the story goes to Mahesh Bhatt. Till the end, you are wondering what the story is. It goes like this. Izna (Sunny Leone making her debut) is a prostitute. She is asked to help the Intelligence Bureau to kill one of their own officers, Randeep Hooda, who has gone on a killing spree within his department. The reason she has been selected is because at one point in time, she was his lover. I'm not even getting into the screenplay of that episode, of how they meet and how they mate! It's hilarious.
Anyways, Izna has a personal score to settle with Randeep as he had walked out on her which forced her into prostitution (I guess). So she agrees. The game then is all about her trying to steal some important information from his home.
Randeep is completely wasted in this film; a fine actor in a terrible mess. Sunny Leone, sorry to say, has no oomph quotient. She is being promoted like this toy or gadget one must buy or watch. But within the first minute of her on-screen, she is a huge turn-off! Every dialogue in different situations is said with the same disinterest. Even a mannequin has some sizzle. Now don't get me wrong. I have nothing against Leone, just that her presentation by the Bhatts is super flawed.
