KARLE PYAAR KARLE is a lavish gift by an over-indulgent father to his son. The movie would have run into a lot many crores of rupees, so why did not producer Suneel Darshan invest time and energy into sourcing a good script? On second thoughts, that is so true of almost all Bollywood movies, so why should Suneel be different? Silly me!
Darshan Sr has ensured that junior gets a proper darshan of dance, fight, action and romance in Bollywood. And to be fair, the lad does have spunk. Shiv is good. Ten years down the line, if Suneel invests in good scripts, there will be a line of Bollywood devotees for 'Shiv' Darshan. CHECK OUT: KARLE PYAAR KARLE - Songs Lyrics
He has a well-toned body, dances well, and is good in the action scenes. Above all, he is very, very confident without being arrogant, and that shows in his body language. I am quite impressed by Shiv, he is a combination of Arjun Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor.
The other debutante, Hasleen Kaur, too does a decent job, given the nature of the script and overall stupidity of the plot.
The dialogues are a disaster. Sample this. A coach has this to say: ''Agar tere maa baap ne birth control pe yakeen kiya hota, toh aaj mere tees second barbad nahi hote.
OR THIS: ''Do type ke bum hote hai, ek me shit aur dusre me dum.''CHECK OUT: KARLE PYAAR KARLE - Music Review
Thank god the coach was thrown into a pit after this!
The story and scenes have their own logic. A death-like situation is treated like comedy. Actually that is the problem with KPK, it's a joke!
