This is a well-intentioned film, with horror as its genre. But sadly, there is no link of sanity in its story-line for it to merit any sense of creativity.
and a baba
who comes from family who is known to fight the evils of the other world is the subject. This baba is however arrested for the killing of his own family when in fact; it was a buri aatma
who did them in after being miffed with this baba for trying to mess with it.
However, one doctor is aware that the baba
is not lying and innocent of his families' murder. He keeps him alive by getting him to be found insane, so that one day he could be helped by the baba when his family is in similar trouble. CHECK OUT: MACHHLI JAL KI RANI HAI movie events
His daughter and her husband are now having a tough time after their transfer to Jabalpur from Mumbai, which the husband readily accepts. Being from Jabalpur he is more than happy to accept this transfer. More importantly, he can now get his wife away from the place where she has been traumatized.
His wife was involved in an accident wherein the driver of the other car crashed onto her windscreen and died. She cannot get this scene from her mind. But the very manner in which she was driving to force this accident was insane. And she was not even possessed till then.
So, in a hurry to quicken the pace, the director felt it apt to push her foot on the accelerator. What a stupid mess.
The acting is sub-standard save for Mukesh Rishi. What I fail to understand is why the wife ran away from the office without informing her husband who was with her, that she had stumbled on an interesting aspect with regards to the spirit that was troubling their family.
Then you are treated to the usual fight of the possessed trying to destroy and the final victory of good over evil.
A frail attempt at a complex plot.
