Why you should not watch RAJDHANI EXPRESS

1) There is no story.
2) The acting is abysmal.
3) The narration is jerky, sketchy and patchy. It keeps moving back and forth with no rhyme or reason.
4) Leander Paes who makes his acting debut is given a role and lines so immature that it makes you wonder how he accepted this as his debut.

Leander Paes is this guy from Delhi who apparently is always ridiculed. He leaves his boss' house with a revolver and boards the Rajdhani Express for Mumbai in search of a better life. On the train, he lands up in a coupe with three others. Here too he feels he is being ridiculed. Every two minutes Gulshan Grover enters their compartment announcing his name and designation. He is the Head Ticket Collector.

In the compartment there is Old Monk and Scotch being drunk. The girl reveals she is a slut; one guy walks out in the train loo for his fun. Leander too wants some fun, but she says he is not her class. He pulls out his gun in a most comic manner. It so happens that a politician's parents are also on the train and this appears to be good news for Jimmy Shergill, the Deputy Commissioner (ATS).

There's lots of stupidity happening on-screen in the name of acting and in one instance, Priyanshu Chatterjee tells Leander to stop overacting. There you go, that itself tells you the pathetic state of the movie.

This train never leaves the station!

The only question I leave the Preview Theatre with is this: How did Jimmy Sir land in a mess like this?
