An indie movie which showed much promise in the first half, falls to pieces in the second, bringing to naught all the good work.
A road trip goes wrong for two friends as they get mugged on a deserted stretch of a highway near a forest. However, after the mugging, director duo of Tina A Bose and Cyrus R Khambatta let the characters on their own, to 'think the film forward'. There is not much of direction.
This is exactly what happens as they wake up after being drugged as instead of trying to find a way out and seek help, they get talking about inane things, thus making a mockery of their mugging and the premise on which the movie was supposed to move forward.
Nothing makes sense after the mugging as the script goes haywire and performances wayward. The end, too does not match the mood of the beginning. It is just too confusing.
However, there are two characters that catch the eye with their fine performances- Pavitra Sarkar and Sandip Ghosh. Both add zing to the script with their powerful performances.
The title of the film, I think, is meant for the viewers!
