You will be happy to know that Columbia TriStar India has taken the concept of 'integration' with Hollywood to a greater height. India is now a part of the wave of 67 countries that are set to take the first ever look at the theatrical teaser trailer for Spider-Man 2 - the sequel to the world wide phenomenon 'Spider-Man'. This is the first time in India that the launch of the theatrical trailer is being coordinated with the global roll out plan. Spider-Man trailers will light up screens across India on December 20, 2003. This marketing initiative is a first of it's kind for Hollywood in India.
In Spider-ManŽ 2, the latest installment in the blockbuster Spider-ManŽ series, based on the classic Marvel Super Hero, Tobey Maguire returns as the mild-mannered Peter Parker, who is juggling the delicate balance of his dual life as a college student and a superhuman crime fighter. The entertaining adventure escalates and Spider-Man's life becomes even more complicated when he confronts a new nemesis, the brilliant Otto Octavius, (Alfred Molina) who has been reincarnated as the maniacal and multi-tentacled "Doc Ock." Spider-Man 2 is directed by Sam Raimi and based on the Marvel Comic book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
