Anuj Sawhney, an MBA from Vanderbilt University in the US, seems set to rock Bollywood with his powerhouse performances with leading banners and leading actresses of the Film Industry. This versatile actor has just completed 3 films with leading actresses. First to release is iDream Productions 'NAINA' opposite original sexy oomph girl Urmila Matondkar due for release on 6th May '05. Next is Kalpana Lajmi's 'CHINGARI' starring Anuj, Sushmita Sen and Mithun Chakraborty under the Venus Records and Tapes Banner.

About his character in the forthcoming Film 'NAINA', Anuj says, "My character is of a young, dynamic yet very warm and approachable doctor. He runs a very successful practice in London. One day he meets Naina and things change for him. Whatever beliefs he has ever stood for seem to come shattering down in front of his own eyes. He looks upon in disbelief till one fine day, an incident makes him believe in the unbelievable and he takes charge of the situation and sets on a journey to finally make things right for his beloved. I have always been a great admirer of Urmila's acting prowess and felt overjoyed to having a chance to working with her as my co-star."

While 'NAINA' a supernatural thriller, about Dr. Sameer Patel, played by Anuj who is a Gujarati psychiatrist based in London whose patient is Naina, being played by Urmila Matondkar. She seems to be falling into a hell - hole and is completely helpless. But, there is a reason as to why she experiences such things. Dr.Sameer comes to her rescue and solves the puzzle and the two fall in love during the course of doing so. Anuj will later also be seen in English flick 'BRIDES WANTED' with legendary Waheeda Rehman and Girish Karnad.

Anuj began his career by modeling for almost 24 commercials for various brands like Reid & Taylor Suiting, Fiat Siena, Nokia Phones, Seagram's Whiskey, Raymond's, Cadburys Éclairs, Kodak films, Yamaha Crux R, Agni Jewellery, Electrolux, Sahara etc and has acted in 5 music videos. He began his film career by working with a banner like Neha Arts, which in itself is a prestigious opportunity.
