The Venus bosses are all charged up about their next presentation, the Sushmita Sen-Mithun-Anuj Sawhney starrer, CHINGARI. According to Ganesh Jain, Venus was looking at a few select quality films for presentation and CHINGARI perfectly fitted the bill. "It has got the intensity, the substance and also the necessary commercial elements for a box-office draw. We are looking at more such films," Jain reveals, adding that they are planning a major release for the film in June-July.

One of the factors that reportedly got Venus interested in the film besides the story element was the presence of Mithun Chakravarthy in it. It may be recalled that it was Venus that was instrumental in Mithun's grand return in a new avataar in its last release ELAAN. "Mithun is a great actor with a tremendous potential to draw the masses and classes alike. The presence of Mithun in a film definitely adds up to a film's commercial value," Jain articulates.

CHINGARI, which was earlier titled, POSTMAN AND THE PROSTITUTE, has Sushmita Sen in one of her career best performances. The role of the postman is being played by Anuj Sawhney, who considers the film the big break in his career.
