Rave Communications’ HOT AND SOUR was launched amid melody at the Venus Recording studios, Juhu on Dec 19, with a recording at the hands of veteran music director Bappi Lahiri. The evergreen music-maker was teaming up for the first time with Adnan Sami, besides Alisha Chinai to render some soulful numbers to the film.
 
HOT AND SOUR, to be directed by Sunjay Sharma, is produced by Vinod Guliani, and is written by Jainendra Baxi. The concept is by Balwinder Ram. While the camera work is by John, Vinod Pathak is the editor.

On the event of the film’s launch Vinod Guliani who incidentally is also an acclaimed fashion photographer said, “HOT AND SOUR is about how crime doesn’t pay and with every life a contract killer takes, he brings to life live bullets who want to take his life…’ As for the casting Sunjay Sharma added, “We are through with our main cast where an established hero is playing a criminal with a past, and an actress known for her sensuous numbers and her histrionics alike, will be the heroine. We will reveal the details once the signature is done on the dotted line.” The underlying message of the film is that “crime doesn’t pay, even if for the right cause,” concluded writer Jaindendra Baxi.
