Recently we had broken the news of Actor Rahul Khanna raising awareness about the plight of elephants held in captivity. He had shot an ad with PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) depicting the same. The latest is that Rahul has teamed up with petaDishoom - PETA India's fast-growing youth-program, for a giveaway of the book Elephants - A Portrait of the Animal World autographed by Rahul, himself.

Rahul has some poignant advice for India's youth. He says, "Don't wear blinders. Acknowledge animal abuse and spread the word in order to cause change.

"Elephants remind me of humans in the way they nurture each other's children and mourn for their death. These sensitive creatures should not be chained away from their natural habitat and fellow species," he added.

So lets spread the word with Rahul for the welfare of elephants and look forward to a better India.
