We all are aware of director Vishal Bharadwaj's obsession with the bard and his plays. After MAQBOOL (Macbeth), OMKARA (Othello) and the latest JULIUS CAESAR (for UTV), Vishal is planning a sequel to MAKDEE. This will take off much before JULIUS CAESAR.
MAKDEE was a children's film about a witch played by Shabana Azmi and child artiste Shweta Prasad. Incidentally Vishal's other film BLUE UMBRELLA is a children's flick based on a story by Ruskin Bond. The 90-minute Hindi film has Pankaj Kapur in the central role along with child artist, Shreya.
