Sammir Dattani has just finished dubbing for Mani Shankar's MUKHBIR and says the film is almost complete. "We are looking at a November release. I am playing the main protagonist and this is a very important film for my career. It's a different film in this era of remakes and sequels. It's a fresh film and it has shaped up really well. I see every film as a stepping stone to success".

He thoroughly enjoyed working with the entire team of MUKHBIR starring Om Puri, Sunil Shetty and Raima Sen. "Initially I was apprehensive working with Om Puri since he is such a senior actor. But he is extremely chilled out and instantly put me at ease. He is a great actor and I've learnt a lot from him."

"Mani Shankar truly has the guts to make something so different. The film has some amazing moments and it will definitely take him a step forward. This will be a memorable film for all of us", he adds excitedly.

Raima plays his love interest in the film. The duo go back a long way. "Raima has an interesting cameo in the film. She was my first co-star. I feel this Hyderabadi connection since we shot our first video (Valentine's day) in Hyderabad and now its MUKHBIR", he wraps up.
