Celebrities and style icons thronged the boutique Mogra, Juhu, where Actress Samita Bangargi showcased her very first collection So Sam amidst much fanfare and hoopla.

The luminous guest list included Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan, Zayed Khan with wife Malaika, Sohail Khan, Anushka Dandekar, Renuka Shahane, Neena Gupta, Amrita Arora and Usman Afsal, Arzoo Gowatrikar, Kanchi Kaul, Vikram Phadnis, Maria Goretti with son Zeke, Ashmit Patel, Inder Kumar, Sophie Chowdhary, Amrita Raichand, Model Mridula Chandrashekhar, Anna Singh.
 
Married to actor Aashish Chowdhary, the actress has starred in films like SHAADI KE LADDOO and RAMJI LONDONWALE, Samita Bangargi turned designer with her first soft launch of her western casuals and festive wear apparel collection ‘So Sam’ and has always had a keen eye for fashion. "I have always loved to design clothes and Niharika Khan of Mogra, Juhu loved my collection so much they decided to launch me itself! I have got some good response and I hope people appreciate my work in designing as well," said the actress.

The range aims to be full of attitude, young and trendy with western casuals as well as festive wear for the approaching Xmas season. Naming the band after herself, Just like Samita, the actress is still open to Bollywood and would definitely jump at a great offer if it came her way!
