Minissha Lamba upbeat about upcoming films

Download Minissha Lamba WallpapersMinissha Lamba who hosted the Global Indian Film Awards (GIFA) dismisses reports about the event being disorganized and chaotic. “GIFA was a huge platform and a great opportunity for me. I am truly honoured to be a part of it. The entire popcorn team did a wonderful job and the event went off smoothly. Mr. Suniel Shetty personally organized things and I didn’t encounter any glitches at all,” informs Minissha.

Her upcoming film HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT LTD, in her opinion is one of the sweetest scripts she’s heard to date. She is paired opposite Abhay Deol and the two play a Parsi couple- Aspi-Zara. “Though it has an ensemble cast, every character has some sort of madness and quirkiness about them. The narrative is such that every character has its own uniqueness and specialty. Ours is an endearing couple madly in love and stands out in its own way,” she gushes.

Up next is Ananth Mahadevan’s ANAMIKA- The Untold Story, a romantic thriller loosely based on the bestseller Rebecca. While Koena Mitra plays Dino Morea’s childhood sweetheart, Minissha plays his second wife. “I play this young girl who is thrown into a world that is alien to her. She struggles to find her new identity and new love. She is struggling to deal with this new life of hers amidst the various unnerving situations she finds herself in. You actually see the film through her eyes and how she unravels various mysteries. The film also has an intriguing reference to the past,” reveals the petite actor.

The ‘Cadbury’ belle forayed into filmdom with YAHAAN and was lately seen in ROCKY. Now catch her in two different avatars this 2007!
